The role

Our clients use SEO for lead generation, sales of products and services, and brand visibility. 

The SEO Manager is responsible for delivering SEO services for multiple clients with the goal of increasing their organic traffic and organic conversions from Search.

Day-to-day, you’ll be identifying SEO issues and opportunities, and advising your clients with clear and prioritized action items. You’d also work with a team of partners, freelancers, and colleagues, providing direction and feedback on their work.

Some tasks you’d be working on are keyword research and clustering, on-page SEO optimization, website structure recommendations, SEO audits and verification, working with clients’ in-house dev teams on implementation support, identifying link-building opportunities, and reporting on organic performance. 

Responsibilities

  • Manage a diverse portfolio of organic services and partner providers.
  • Recognize clients’ needs and translate them into sustainable SEO strategies.
  • Analyze websites’ SEO performance monthly, identify opportunities, and map them into specific action items with clear priorities.
  • Deliver SEO services — Technical and Content SEO audits, ongoing SEO Health Monitoring, and SEO consultancy. 
  • Monitor SEO implementation and communicate with clients’ dev teams or in-house developers.
  • Measure and analyze the results of SEO work and communicate it back to the client in a clear, correct, complete, and concise way.
  • Work with a team of SEO and Content specialists to support clients’ organic growth.
  • Work with project teams and Client Success Managers and contribute to clients’ success.
  • Present results and communicate the value of the SEO services to clients.
  • Upsell SEO services to clients.
  • Oversee the work of the specialists on the team, provide feedback on their work, and share SEO knowledge with team members.
  • Work with SEO partners and freelancers — onboard, provide feedback and support their client work.

Desired skills and experience

  • 4+ years of SEO experience – technical and content SEO. Agency experience is a plus.
  • In-depth experience with these tools: Screaming Frog SEO Spider, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, SE Ranking, and Google Analytics;
  • Experience with log file analysis and website migrations;
  • Native English proficiency;
  • Ability to work fast and independently;
  • Excellent teamwork and people management skills;
  • Excellent documentation and client reporting skills;
  • Excellent internal and external communication, and presentation skills;
  • 1+ years of experience managing a team will be considered a major advantage.
